Ceremonial grade matcha is the highest grade of matcha tea. It is traditionally used in Japanese Tea Ceremonies, an elaborate ritual in which the host treats their guests to the finest quality matcha, sometimes along with sweets, and which can continue for several hours.

Ceremonial grade matcha can only be made in Japan, from the youngest leaves of the camellia sinensis plant. Our tea is sustainably sourced from the Kyoto region.

Matcha is well-known for its impressive health benefits. It contains catechins, which fight free radicals and oxidative stress.† Our matcha also contains naturally occurring l-theanine, a non-protein amino acid which has shown promise in reducing stress-related symptoms.

Matcha makes an excellent alternative to coffee. It provides a similar boost of energy thanks to its natural caffeine without giving you the ‘jitters’ or an upset stomach.
