In many countries around the world, parasites are a very common issue in children – their fingers are always in their mouth and up their noses! Many cultures will do a full moon ritual on their children more frequently than adult's because pinworms are such a common issue amongst children and they spread very easily. However in North America we have yet to normalize this ritual because many professionals will say that we don't have a parasite problem in North America, which is completely untrue!
